Dan Gage, president of The Transport Project, talks about the process of rebranding an organization, explains what a sustainability solutionist is, and why he thinks now is the perfect opportunity for natural gas. He also explains the different types of feedstocks for RNG, the economics of the fuel and clears up some of the misconceptions.

Is this guy completely delusional? Or just a fossil fuel industry shill? The answer, is clearly the latter! He says policymakers ”assumed we were shills for oil and gas, polluters, whatever, fill in the blank,” so they decided to change their name to get their foot in the door. Well - a quick look at the members of ”The Transport Project” reveals that their members are, in fact, OIL AND GAS COMPANIES AND POLLUTERS!!! Their members include Shell Oil Company, Chevron, the American Gas Association, Socal Gas, Southern Company Gas, Marathon, and a billion other producers of FOSSIL FUELS!!! ( The production of ”renewable natural gas” from waste is a beautiful idea but production is completely insignificant compared to extractive natural gas production. Their plan is extremely obvious - A bunch of fossil fuel companies want vehicles that will keep burning their product. If American trucking converted to gaseous fuel the vast majority would be met by fossil gas extracted from the ground. Dan Gage you should quit your job and go do something that won’t jeopardize the health of your grandchildren.
